What is a "Protector of Acheron"?

Almost everyday, in Acheron, a Cursed Obelisk is summoned by Kundun! The Cursed Obelisk empowers nearby elemental monsters with additional elemental strength. Kundun summons the obelisk consistently, attacking Alkmar, Ubaid, or Debenter, in attempt to kill unprepared travelers for loot. Help destroy the summoned Cursed Obelisk to help make the area somewhat safer for other travelers! It is also an easy way to earn Jewel Bundles or a decent rare Item!

Protector of Acheron start

• The game client will make a System Notice when the Mini-game starts.
• Example System Notice: "Destroy the Cursed Obelisk with corrupt spirits!"
• When started, the Cursed Obelisk will instantly spawn with Boss Monsters summoned around it.
• To enter the Mini-game map, talk to NPC Sir Lesnar and click Dialogue Option #9.
• The Cursed Obelisk randomly spawns in one of the following areas:
  • Alkmar
  • Ubaid
  • Debenter
• You must search each area in order to find which location the Cursed Obelisk is in.
• Each area has a specific co-ordinates in which the Cursed Obelisk will spawn (center of the map).
• The Cursed Obelisk randomly summons a pair of Boss Monsters:
  • Cursed Gnome & Cursed Normus
  • Cursed Hellraiser & Cursed Muff
  • Cursed Salamander & Cursed Sellihoden
  • Cursed Sylphid & Cursed Silla
  • Cursed Undine & Cursed Ukanva
• The higher level Boss Monster can summon additional lower level Boss Monsters.
• All monsters and the obelisk are spawned with the same, random, Elemental Type.

Protector of Acheron tips & tricks

• Form a Party with other characters to search for the obelisk's location faster.
• If other players are not around, take your time to kill the Boss Monsters for additional loot.
• Use Buff Items.
• Keep extra inventory space free for item drops.
• You can exit the Invasion at any time via warp.
• Use AOE Skills to try to avoid the crowd of Boss Monsters.

Winning Protector of Acheron

• The Invasion is won by killing Cursed Obelisk first.
• When the Cursed Obelisk is killed, all other monsters will instantly disappear.
• This Invasion will announce the Character Name of the winner, via System Notice.
• Example winning System Notice: "The Cursed Obelisk was destroyed by Character Name."
• All rewards, in the Invasion, are solely earned from monster drops.

The Invasion based on the original MU Online and fully correspond to the original settings of our MU season. During the Invasion period, a mission Invasion will be held to reward players with various items according to the levels obtained.

The "Protector of Acheron" Invasion will start exactly 21:30, that's in 16 hours, 24 minutes, 45 seconds from now, and the duration of the Invasion will be 30 minutes.
